When vertebral alignment and joint mobilization and are improved, nerve irritation and joint inflammation and pain can be relieved. Good alignment/weight distribution on the joints also helps diminish future arthritic breakdown due to uneven wear and tear. Since all of the body's functions are controlled by the nerves, a well adjusted body functions better and is healthier. Unfortunately, our body cannot realign on its own. Muscles, tendons, and ligaments can shorten or lengthen over time from a previous injury or longstanding misalignment creating altered alignment and posture. These alterations in posture can be improved with the proper treatment to the Muscles, tendons, and ligaments by stretching these tissues and mobilizing the underlying joints.
